User interface and layout design

print project

I redesigned and established new design guidelines for NetApp's most advanced product line FAS server/storage system Installation Guide Poster. For this project, I started by spending good quality times with my tech writers and some of our customers to collect feedback on our previous poster's layout and user experiences. Then I asked detailed questions about their ideal guide look and feel, then drafted a couple early designs for A/B testing. After a couple months pilot tests with con-site trail run with volunteers, we finalized out layout design and updated some new elements based on users’ feedback, then came up with brand new guideline for the Installation Guide.
